Pill Collection Drop Box
The Pill Collection Drop Box is a program for citizens as a convenient and safe way to dispose of unneeded or unwanted pills from their homes. Proper and safe disposal of pills serves to reduce the possibility of accidental or criminal misuse of these drugs as well as provide a safe alternative to disposing of medications in landfills and/or sewer systems.
Restrictions
This program is only for pills. No other form of drugs will be accepted. (No liquids, gels, sharps, syringes or aerosol products.) This program is only for households. Pills from businesses, health care facilities, long-term care facilities, pharmaceutical representatives, pharmacies, doctor offices and veterinary clinics will not be accepted.
Location
Citizens should bring their unwanted pills to the collection drop box located outside the entrance of the University Police Office.
