Campus Security
ZSR Library Security

The Z. Smith Reynolds Library is open seven days a week, with special hours on the weekend. Two security officers, one on each day and one on the evening shift, are responsible for the library’s security. Their duties are to report suspicious activity and safety issues and assist visitors with questions and concerns.
Security officers monitor the security desk to ensure that books and other equipment are not removed from the library without permission. The ZSR Library security officers are liaison officers between our police department and the library personnel.
Benson Center

The Benson University Center serves as a central hub on campus, offering a wide range of facilities including large multipurpose rooms, smaller conference spaces, and reservable public areas such as galleries and lounges. It also houses several key services and amenities, including a food court, Mail Services, Pugh Auditorium, meeting rooms, the Copy Center, numerous student organizations, and various student-focused administrative offices. With comfortable lounges located on the first, third, and fourth floors, Benson remains a highly frequented location where students gather to dine, study, collaborate, and socialize.
A dedicated security officer is assigned to the Benson University Center. Their responsibilities include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, monitoring for suspicious activity and safety concerns, and ensuring that all exterior doors are locked at the end of the shift. The officer also serves as a point of contact for visitors, providing assistance and addressing questions or concerns as needed.
Worrell Professional Center Security

The Worrell Professional Center security officer monitors the security desk to ensure that all visitors to the Law School sign in and out of the building. The officer also acts as the liaison between our police department, the Law School, and the HES Department.
The Worrell Professional Center is home to the Law School and the Health and Exercise Sciences Department. One security officer is responsible for the center’s security. The officer reports suspicious activity and safety issues and assists visitors with questions and concerns.
Farrell Hall Security

Farrell Hall is home to the Business School. Two security officers are responsible for its security, and they work a weekday and a weekend shift. Their duties are to report suspicious activity and safety issues and assist visitors with questions and concerns.
The security officers’ responsibilities also include patrolling the building, securing all doors inside the building, and locking the exterior doors at the end of their shift. The Farrell Hall security officers are liaison officers between our police department and the Business School.
LJVM Coliseum Security

The Lawrence Joel Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum is home to Wake Forest University Basketball. Two security officers are responsible for the LJVM’s security, and they work seven days a week. Their duties are to patrol the building, report suspicious activity and safety issues, and assist visitors with questions and concerns.
The security officers are responsible for monitoring the activities of the LJVM Coliseum through the security cameras which are located throughout the entire complex. The LJVM Coliseum security officers are liaison officers between our police department and the Athletic Department.
