Officer Chris Holt began his career in law enforcement in 2007 as a Deputy Sheriff with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office. While with the Sheriff’s Office he was assigned to the uniform patrol division and also as a courtroom bailiff for awhile. In 2010 he accepted a position here at Wake Forest. He currently serves as a uniform patrol officer on the night shift. He serves as liaison officer for Martin and Polo Halls. When Chris is off duty he and his younger brother operate a welding and machine shop business. Chris serves his community as a volunteer fire fighter also. He says the most rewarding thing about working at Wake Forest is interacting with the students and “being a good listener”. He also appreciates working with fellow officers that have so many years of experience.
